About me.
I started music with studying piano and trumpet; following my uncle's footsteps. (Robert Redd, Berklee College of Music '72) I studied, performed, and recorded music through high school. Loving Hip-Hop and many other forms of music, I started creating tracks and songs while fusing genres and live instrumentation for independent Atlanta rap artists. In undergrad at Georgia State University's Sound Recording Technology degree program, I honed my music production skills. During my senior year, I received my first major placement on the "Barbershop 2: Back in Business" soundtrack as an instrumentalist on artist Mya's song "Fallen" (Zone IV remix). From this start, I continued to contribute to the Atlanta music scene as a multi-instrumentalist, engineer, songwriter, and producer working with artists and producers the likes of Big Boi, Andre 3000, Nipsey Hussle, Kelly Rowland, Akon, Ruben Studdard, Metro Boomin', 21 Savage, Lecrae, Polow da Don, BlacElvis, Organized Noize, T.I., RENEGADE EL REY, Ink, 1500 or Nothin', and more. I was later elected as a Board committee member and national delegate for the Atlanta Federation of Musicians. I have received five (5) RIAA-certified platinum plaques and one (1) gold plaque. I have worked on two albums that were nominated for Grammy album of the year in their respective genres. I give back to the Atlanta music community by supporting middle and high-school band programs acquire and repair instruments. I aslo volunteer as a military funeral "Taps" player via Buglers Across America, NFP.
